Directions

By Road

From Toronto
QEW west to 403 west to the Main Street East exit, follow Main Street to James Street and turn north (left) follow James Street to Guise Street and turn left (west). The RHYC parking lot is approximately 100 yards on your right.

From Niagara
QEW east to Burlington Street exit going west to James Street North. Turn right (north) to Guise Street and turn left (west). The RHYC parking lot is approximately 100 yards on your right.

From the West
403 east to Hamilton, exit at Main Street east, follow Main Street to James Street and turn north (left) follow James Street to Guise Street and turn left (west). The RHYC parking lot is approximately 100 yards on your right.

Please be aware of the posted 30km speed limit in the North End.

 

By Water

Sail to the west end of Lake Ontario to the canal into Hamilton Harbour. The lift bridge is currently under going maintenance and opens on demand for freighters and on a reduced schedule for pleasure craft. The bridge monitors channel 16. You must proceed through the bridge under power.

Sail west, 3.2 nautical miles and turn south to sail through the break wall. (GPS coordinates N43 16.496, W79 51.851). Sails can be dropped in the sheltered area inside the break wall. Tie up at the front dock next to the Jack Pine and check in at the office (M-F 0900-1500) or the bar.
