The 1st Annual Hamilton Sail for the Thrill hosted by The Royal Hamilton Yacht Club is a unique learn-to-sail adventure that accommodates beginners to intermediate participants. Crews learn weekly lessons to be able to compete in the Grand Sail Training Regatta.
 
  • Crews (Teams) of 2 per boat (420 dinghy) sailors participate for:
  • 8 weeks starting May 9th – June 27th
  • 1 Night Per Week (Tuesdays or Thursday) 5:45PM-8:30PM
  • Final Regatta to be held the last night of practice
 
Restrictions: All participants must be over the age of 14 years old. Must possess basic swimming abilities.
 
One 2-hour lesson each week beginning Tuesday, May 9th, 2017 from 5:45PM till dusk for 8 consecutive Tuesdays
 
The Grand Sail Training Regatta Day is the week of June 27th includes 3 races and finals awards ceremony, BBQ included.
 
Fees: $250 + HST
 
What is included in the registration fee?
  • 1 lesson each week for 8 weeks taught by a Sail Canada accredited coach in 420 sail boats
  • Social evenings post sail in the beautiful clubhouse and patio
